Margaret Harstad is the owner of Muggymoose. She works with clients to create Bodywork sessions and Ayurvedic recommendations that benefit their specific needs. This helps them reduce anxiety, stress, inflammation and pain, creating a more intentional way of being in their bodies. Her specialty is Thai Bodywork, certified with the Thai Healing Alliance since 2008.  Her work also includes Therapeutic Table Massage, Ayurvedic Consults, Chi Nei Tsang, Ayurvedic Therapies, Marma point work , Yoga and Partner Yoga, studying with teachers in the United States and Thailand.

Always Learning, Always Growing!

Prior to the field of massage, Margaret worked as an Elementary Art Teacher, graduating from the University of Vermont.  She was also a sailing and climbing guide for the National Outdoor Leadership School, a Naturalist for Hennepin Parks, and owned an Outdoor Food Company creating culinary delights for outdoor travel.   

She has lived in Duluth since 2004 with her husband, Hansi, and their son, Tae.  They enjoy involvement in the Duluth outdoors, including mountain biking, Nordic and Alpine skiing, running, camping and spending time on and in the lakes. Other joys include cooking, gardening, yoga, running her business and spending time in nature.  She feels lucky and honored every day she comes to her studio to work with this amazing community. 

Margaret has certifications as a Certified Licensed Massage Therapist, a Registered Thai Therapist, a Principle Based Partner Yoga Teacher, a Chi Nei Tsang Therapist, an Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher, a Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Provider, an Ayurvedic Yoga Specialist and Ayurvedic Bodywork Therapist. She values the integrity of training and certification. She is registered in all the modalities she practices on clients.

Emily Ostos: Therapist, Yoga Teacher

EMILY OSTOS

Registered Licensed Massage Therapist | Thai Therapist | RYT 200

Emily Ostos is a Licensed Massage Therapist and a graduate of Lake Superior College, 2015. She has an adaptive touch specific to each individual's needs, and integrates the modalities of Myofascial Release, Swedish and Deep Tissue techniques, with a creative & relaxing flow. She also offers Traditional Ashiatsu and Thai Bodywork, having studied in Chiang Mai in 2019.

Always Learning, Always Growing!

Emily is also a Registered Yoga Teacher, studying and receiving her 200 hour Hatha Yoga certification at the Sivananda Ashram of Netala, India in 2011. She teaches a slower, thoughtful style of vinyasa, that focuses on organic alignment, engagement, and breath. With over 1,300 hours of teaching experience, from hot yoga to yin, SUP yoga to Chakra workshops ~ her classes are sincere and unique. Her love and passion for holistic healing through movement and intention are apparent on both the mat and massage table.

Born in Venezuela and raised in Louisiana, Emily spent years chasing adventures and backpacking across the globe, after receiving a BFA from Northwestern State University of Louisiana. She found a home in Duluth, on the beautiful shores of Lake Superior in 2008. In her free time, she enjoys yoga, cooking, creating art of any kind, singing, and playing outside with friends, loved ones, and her dog, Niko.

Sophia LaGregg: Therapist

SOPHIA LAGREGG

Registered Licensed Massage Therapist

Sophia is a 2023 graduate of Lake Superior College. She is trained in deep tissue/therapeutic, prenatal, lymphatic facilitation, sports massage, and somatic retraining. She is excited to work with clients to help them get what they need out of their session. She has lived in Duluth on and off her whole life, always drawn back to this beautiful city and community. In her free time, Sophia loves folk dancing and strengthening her relationship with our plant friends through gardening and foraging.

Ella Greenwalt is a dedicated Ayurvedic Health Counselor, Reiki practitioner and RYT 200 Yin Yoga Teacher with a deeply personalized approach to holistic wellness. Her journey began at the age of 15 when yoga, meditation and nutrition became a vital part of her healing process. What started as a personal practice soon evolved into a lifelong passion, leading her to the profound wisdom of Ayurveda and Reiki. Over the past decade she has refined her practice, integrating ancient healing traditions with modern, practical applications to help others cultivate balance, vitality and inner peace.

Ella’s work is rooted in a deep understanding of the mind-body connection. Through Ayurvedic health counseling, she provides customized guidance on nutrition, lifestyle, and daily rituals tailored to each client’s unique constitution and imbalances. Her holistic approach empowers individuals to achieve long-term wellness in a way that feels natural and sustainable.

In her Reiki sessions, Ella facilitates deep energetic healing, helping to clear blockages and restore the body’s natural flow of life force energy. Her intuitive and compassionate presence creates a safe space for relaxation, renewal, and transformation.

At the heart of her practice is a commitment to inclusivity and empowerment. She believes true healing occurs when individuals feel seen, supported, and safe to show up as their whole selves. More than just addressing symptoms, Ella’s approach fosters reconnection, self-discovery, and holistic well-being. Whether clients seek physical balance, emotional clarity, or spiritual alignment, she guides them with wisdom, warmth, and deep respect for their unique journey. Sonja Ramos: Monthly guest Therapist

SONJA RAMOS

Registered Licensed Massage Therapist, Thai Therapist, Shiatsu Practitioner

Sonja is a Licensed Massage Therapist and a graduate of the East-West Massage and Shiatsu Program at Counterpoint Massage School. Prior to Counterpoint, Sonja studied Thai Bodywork with Chris Gordon at Big River Yoga. She specializes in Shiatsu, Thai Bodywork and East-West Therapeutic Massage: a blend of Eastern and Western techniques. Sonja is also a RYT200, graduating from Yoga North in 2010.

With an interest in living in harmony with the seasons and cycles of the earth, Sonja feels her best when surrounded by nature and all its beauty. Duluth is her hometown and lives strongly in her hart. An alumni of the UMD Outdoor program in 1999, Sonja has created a business called Body by Nature. Its goal is to encourage more people to find ease in living with the seasons and cycles of the natural world by letting the land be their guide and blending yoga, qi gong, forest therapy, hiking and other activities.

Sonja currently lives in St. Paul and will be a guest therapist in our studio once a month. Her heart lives in Duluth and we are honored to have her! Sonja is available by appointment only.
